A small travel fee will be applied to any session outside of the Northern Virginia area. Many of my clients avoid this as they opt to have their photos here in horse country and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the countryside.
Do I need to pay a travel fee?
Once your session date is officially booked, we move into the styling portion of the planning process—one of my favorite parts. We begin by building your outfits through custom style boards that I create specifically for your session. From there, I’ll have you pull pieces from your own closet, identify anything that may be worth ordering, and thoughtfully incorporate items I have available in my client closet. The process is very simple and collaborative—I provide visual look boards along with direct links and guidance, so you’re never left guessing. Rather than relying on a large client closet, I’ve intentionally scaled that back. I want your images to feel timeless yet current, and keeping an ever-changing inventory of on-trend pieces simply isn’t realistic. That said, I do have select items and accessories on hand that I do bring in to help complete certain looks.
How does the styling work for your sessions?
Since rain can come and go quickly I always wait until the day before your session to decide if we need to reschedule or if we just need to move your time up or back. If we see rain in the forecast predicted for over 50% then I reach out to you and we make a back-up plan. The back up plan can be to either shoot inside my studio, to change the time so we miss the storm, or to reschedule to another date if the storm is predicted to last the entire day.
What if it rains on my photoshoot date?
To book you will need to fill out my inquiry form, then I can send you available dates, and you will send me a security deposit and a signed photo contract.
